Vilda Home Sweet Home Card

Hello Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Home Sweet Home Card that I created for the Vilda Stamps Challenge Blog for our November Challenge.

To create my card I used V153 Mushroom Apartments and Small Mushrooms that you can find here: http://shop.textalk.se/en/article.php?id=16232&art=9609566

You can also find the Vilda Stamps Challenge Blog here: http://vildastampschallengeblog.blogspot.com/ Our Challenge is anything goes. Just enter any of your newly created projects and link them to our Challenge for your chance to win some Amazing Vilda Stamp prizes!

To make my card first I stamped the adorable mushroom house and extra mushrooms onto 110 lb. plain white card stock. I then colored all of the images in with Copics and used a white paint pen to add my highlights. After I was done coloring in the images, I then fussy cut them out and inked the edges with Ocean Colorbox chalk ink for some added dimension.

Next I cut all my mats, frames, and embellishments using dies from CDD and attached them to my card base. I then used foam tape to attach the little mushrooms to my card for some extra height and interest. To finish I added ribbon and rhinestones. I hope that you enjoy my card and are inspired to create some of your own projects using these super cute stamps. We also hope that you will join us for our challenge. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!

Hello again Everyone! I have one last Halloween Card to share with you today using two super cute stamp sets from Vilda Stamps.

and Halloween Kit 2014 V817 that you can find in the shop

To create my card first I cut my background panel from plain white 110 lb. card stock with a die and then masked off the moon by just cutting a circle from masking paper. I then stamped the bottom hills with the tomb stones, and the bats using stamps from the Halloween Kit. Next I blended my background over the stamps with Distress ink in Ripe Persimmon and Seedless Preserves to create my Halloween night sky. Once I was happy with the blended sky, I then removed the mask on the moon and then added a black die cut tree to my scene.

Next I stamped the Adorable Sugar Bat girl, pumpkin, and Halloween Banner onto plain white card stock. After the ink was dry, I then colored all of the images in with Copic Markers. Once I was done coloring the images, I fussy cut them out, and attached them to my card base with foam tape for some added dimension. To finish my card I added some coordinating mats, ribbon, and rhinestones for some extra embellishment and interest.  Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope that my card inspires you to try your own creations using these Amazing stamps!

Halloween Owl Card

Hello Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Halloween Owl Card that I made with an Amazing stamp set from Vilda Stamps!

To create my card I used Halloween 2014 (A6-Kit) V817 that you can find in the Vilda Stamps shop here:

This set has so many fun images that can be combined to make some wonderful Halloween scenes. To make my card first I stamped the large tree onto 110 lb plain white card stock. Next I masked off the tree and then stamped the owl so that it looks like it is sitting on the branch. I then stamped some of the little spider webs, spiders, and bats to complete my scene.

After that I masked the tree and owl off so that I could use Distress inks to blend together for my background and not worry about accidentally coloring over the owl or tree. I first layered the brightest orange color called Ripe Persimmon at the top and then transitioned to my darkest purple color called Seedless Preserves at the bottom. I blended both colors together using a foam makeup applicator for a smooth blend. Once I was done with my background I then removed the masks and used Copic markers to color the owl and tree. I wanted to try something fun and different for the owl so I decided to color him in green tones to contrast the purple witch hat. I love how by just using a different color combination you can create a completely different mood for your card.  To finish my card I added flowers, rhinestones, and the little Halloween sentiment that comes with the stamp kit for some extra embellishment. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope that my card inspires you to try out your own creations with these Fantastic stamps!
